CALL FOR PAPERS
International Workshop on ICT

Kyushu Chapter of Information Processing Society of Japan (IPSJ),
Software Engineering Society/The Korean Institute of Information Scientists
and Engineers(SES/KIISE), and Association of Computers and Informatics Institution
of Indonesia(APTIKOM) hold this workshop to provide an opportunity for researchers
and engineers to exchange novel ideas and practical experiences in ICT.
The workshop especially welcomes paper submissions from graduate students
and younger engineers to encourage them being professionals who can work globally.

・Submission
The extended abstract of the paper should be submitted in PDF via EasyChair:
https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=iwict2013beppu
by October 25th (Friday), 2013 in JST/KST.
It must be within 4 pages at maximum in English.
The extended abstract is peer reviewed by program committee members.
Depending on the topic of the paper, a guest program committee will be invited for review.
The workshop does not require strict novelty.
The paper can be accepted if it is reliable and raises interests of participants.
Papers reporting a practice of existing methods or evaluating existing technologies
are also welcomed.
The final version of the paper must be in IPSJ style.
The style file for LaTeX and the template file for MS-Word are available at:

The final version will be in public on the web site of the workshop,
but please note that the copyright of the final version must be transferred to IPSJ.
・Registration
All the participants make registration in advance.
Registration fees of the workshop are as follows:
Class Participants
Regular 10,000JPY
Student 5,000JPY
Registration fee should be paid by bank transfer to the bank account to be prepared.
At least one author of the accepted paper must make registration.
In case no author of an accepted paper makes registration, the paper will not be published;
that is, the paper is dealt as if it was rejected.
・Financial Support for Travel Expenses
IPSJ Kyushu Chapter will provide IPSJ student members with a certain amount of
financial support for travel expenses.
